PROJECT BEGINNER: Make Festive Scrappy Bunting

$65 includes all materials
Do you have a sewing machine still in the box, waiting for you to get up the courage to figure out how to use it? Do you dream of making beautiful things that you just can’t find in a store? Are you looking for a sweet gift for someone you love?
Welcome to PROJECT BEGINNER, a new series of workshops designed for folks who want to make friends with their sewing machines, hone their basic sewing skills, and get busy making all the beautiful things they’ve been dreaming about.
In this 2 hour workshop, you’ll make a festive scrappy bunting using your choice of colorful cotton scraps. Along the way you’ll learn how to thread your sewing machine, choose the right thread color, sew a straight stitch, and make neat turned corners. By the end of this workshop, you’ll be more comfortable with your sewing machine, and have made a string of colorful bunting you can use over and over again for parties, events, or everyday decoration.
Don’t have your own sewing machine, but still want to learn? I have several machines available for you to use during class.
