*facilitated by Lillian Harris and Katherine Ferrier*
This is a day-long invitation to turn your attention inwards and and be in conversation with your wise, creative, expansive self. Supported by the stillness of the mid-winter quiet, we'll spend the day exploring our inner space through the practices of SoulCollage®, contemplative free-writing, and meditation.

Tiny Handmade Patchwork Needle Books
In our next episode of “making sense by making something” and “finding a place for all the little pieces” I present my new Tiny Scrap Patchwork Needle Book. The name needs tweaking, but I’m pretty happy with the design!
I set out to make something useful, and beautiful, without buying or acquiring any new materials. Made entirely from the offcuts of other makers, generously gifted to me. Linen and hemp patchwork, lined with floursack cotton, with industrial wool felt pages to hold your needles. Comes complete with 3 of my favorite needles.
The perfect gift for you, or your favorite stitcher. Limited supply. Order one here.

Medomak Fiberarts Retreat
I'll be returning to Medomak Fiber Arts Retreat to offer a new version of my improvisational patchwork class, as well as a writing class for makers and a workshop in felting and stitching abstract landscapes.
Come join me August 11-17 for a week of fiber-filled fun in beautiful Washington, Maine. Whether you knit, crochet, spin, felt, dye, or weave, or if you’ve always wanted to learn how, this is the place for you! Enjoy the company of fellow fiber enthusiasts while you spin by the fireplace or knit in rocking chairs on the porch of our lodge. Collect natural dyestuffs around camp and dye your own yarn and fiber. Most of all, relax and enjoy the beauty and magic of Medomak.
